We read this fresh BBC article about a Mr. Geoff Spice who has decided that, in order to give up smoking, he will (has today) move to Sgarabhaigh, in the Outer Hebrides -of which Lewis (scene of the twister) forms part- for 31 days.
We note the current owner of the remote island, David Hill and that his name resonates home/house/hill of David. Mr Spice (sugar and) used to work as a director of NM Rothschild.
Looking further, we note that David (call me Dave) Hill has engineered the manufacture of a souvenir silver sixpence which, according to his website - and this is where it gets interesting:

The coin is based on the silver sixpence produced by James VI of Scotland (1588-1625) also James I of England (1603-1625) the first King to unite the crowns of Scotland and England...
On the 'Reverse' side of the coin is a Shield, known as an escutcheon, again replicating the original coin. Within the shield we have included our historic link to the Stuarts, the Royal House of Scotland, represented by the Chequered Pattern in the top left hand quarter. This pattern is central to the Stuart crest...

On the 'new' coin's reverse side escutcheon there is the four quarters.
The top left corner has the chequered pattern - note, 4 X 7 = 28 squares.
The 2-D layout trying to look like 3-D....hmm what science do they know of, those Stuarts ???
[Check out the St Mirren club crest and their chequered pattern usage: Paisley famous for it's other pattern - wonder how they got that design ??)

The bottom left corner has David's harp (can't figure out how many strings there are; 7, 8, maybe 10 ???)
What frquencies does this harp play ?
The two squares on the right hand side show the stag and castle. Both could be taken for matriarchal symbols if the stag is assumed as white in colour. Otherwise, the stag is a patriarchal totem animal of the Stuarts and the castle/tower as the 'womb'.
Now what did/do these Stuarts know of scientifically ??
And more importantly, where did they get their information from ??
