Food for thought

As we approach the G20 summit we read more of the trouble and disorder expected by the authorities, indeed so much so that the police have described the situation as "unprecedented", and are apparently monitoring social networking websites (perhaps even blogs :) in an attempt to stay "one step ahead" of the protestors: the operation labelled Glencoe. (see here)

As regards the reason for the choice of codename Glencoe, we are unfortunately left in the dark, although it crosses my mind that it may be something to do with the fact that rioting anarchists almost invariably target MacDonalds eateries. Then again, the Macdonalds were seemingly massacred on the 13th February 1692 because they were not prompt enough in pledging their allegiance to new monarchs, Mary II and William II, the latter perhaps better known as William of Orange.

nb - please also see my posts porkies and German Shepherd from last May, and bear in mind that the story has very recently been reincarnated and heavily reported on, including the ubiquitous "riot" scenes, with the arrest of numerous Scottish "football hooligans".

Wasn't William the grandson of James I and VI , and James the II his son.
Considering the other article about Protestant and Catholic book
James I marrried Elizabeth [ daughter] to Fredeick V , Elector Palatine - Calvinist and married Charles [ leter the Ist to the Infanta of Spain - catholics who then ouste Frederick and Elizabeth from Prague in 1620, sparking the 3

Not great on that subject aferrismoon, but realise that it all just a big scam.

James I has something to do with Dunfermline, see next post, if you can fill in the gaps it would be appreciated.
