Brothers in Arms

As noted in my last post, in a few minutes bands and musicians from all around the United Kingdom will perform Coldplay's Viva la Vida and  it's references to Jerusalem, Kings, etc. 

Later, Coldplay will be the headline act at the Paralympic closing ceremony (The Festival of the Flame), some sketchy details are appearing in the media, apparently alleged freemason, Jay Z, and alleged MK'd, Rihanna, will join them, whilst the theme will "celebrate the seasonal cycle of ancient  and modern festivals". Should be fairly magical with an apparently "devastatingly emotional" raising  of the Union flag. (mail on line)

Obviously, given the usual secrecy, it is unsure whether Prince William will attend tonight's  torching of the phoenix nest; according to the  mail on line he is currently holed up in an "idyllic French retreat", before his forthcoming gruelling Far East tour which begins on 11/9. It has been noted previously in the same publication that he will attend the athletes parade tomorrow; don't  forget the extra leap year day and  think astrologically.

Meanwhile, also tomorrow, Andy Murray is due to play in the US open, his press conference yesterday invaded by Manchester United (the Red Devils) manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, along with 007, Sir Sean Connery. Ferguson noted how Scotland "invented the world", which is fairly close to the mark considering freemasonry, it's effects and "current" roots, the mother lodge 0 based in Kilwinning. It's the future though, that's concerning now as we are herded into a collective nightmare. (mail on line)

All the world's a stage

According to media reports, "hip hop superstar", Jay Z, is to perform along with Coldplay at the Paralympic closing ceremony this coming Sunday. It should be interesting, if we accept the "occult" references in his work and publicity, notwithstanding those of Coldplay which I briefly touched on here just a couple of posts ago, in relation to the 9/9 nationwide rendition of Viva la Vida.

Monday 10th sees a final Olympic athletes parade which Prince William is tipped to attend, just before he flies to Singapore with Kate, where on 11/9 (that's 911) in the Botanical Gardens, the royal couple will be afforded the honour of having an orchid named after each of them. (here)

Shades of the future

Last night saw the Paralympics opening ceremony and, as noted yesterday, the theme revolved around an "intellectual revolution" between 1550 and 1720, with alleged would be time traveller, Professor Hawking, advising hermetically to "look to the stars" rather than one's feet, probably in respect of the ongoing "human revolution": the creation of a one-world society and eventual colonisation of space.

Umbrellas were uber-prominent, the link title at foot self explanatory in terms of the symbology employed - we are all in it together; not forgetting that "the umbrella was also considered a symbol in early religious beliefs to be connected with the Gods of fertility and harvest, death and rebirth. Nut, the mother goddess of ancient Egypt was sometimes compared to an umbrella, with her body arching over the whole of Earth" (here)

Enlighten yourselves

Details are being reported on the 11 day long Paralympics opening ceremony, with the Mail on Line calling it The Greatest Show on Earth (part 2). The performance is called Enlightenment, and will feature athletes flying on golden wheelchairs, the ubiquitous Royal Family, Professor Hawking and Shakespeare's Tempest, the latter prominent in both the opening and closing Olympic ceremonies. Lord Coe notes that "It (the ceremony) focuses on that extraordinary period in European history and the great intellectual revolution that took place between 1550 and 1720. Everything from Newton making sense of gravity and motion to Napier with logarithms and Harvey with blood circulation. It’s really about ceilings, about human understanding, about limitations and the importance of knowledge. Within that period some quite profound things were being said about the rights of man. You can probably gather what it’s trying to say". 

Obviously I will be watching both the opening and closing events, keeping a close eye on William. I apologise for not having yet "typed" up the Olympic closing ceremony details as yet, I should have it done soon, although what jumped out was the 303 cubed pyramid construction whilst Kate Bush's, Running up that Hill (A Deal with God), played in the background. Note that Bush originally titled the song, A Deal with God, but her record company objected, and note the lyrics "and get him to swap our places".
