Trump @ Bilderberg ?

As the delegates congregate at Watford for the Bilderberg, Donald Trump flies in to the North East corner of Scotland, Aberdeen, to inspect the site of his proposed second Scottish golf course - to be named after his mother, Mary Macleod - and then potentially circumambulate the United Kingdom, low and behold who should pop up but old favourites here, William of Orange and the Glencoe massacre.

Last week saw an episode of Game of Thrones shown on British television, an episode which apparently per the mail on line "shocked viewers with the brutal slaughter of multiple characters", amid accusations that the writer, George R.R. Martin, had gone "over the top".

According to Martin though, the controversial bloodthirsty scenes have a historical basis, both related to Scotland. The first concerned a dinner held at Edinburgh Castle, where the Earl of Douglas was butchered by followers of 10 year old King James 2nd, amid fears he was becoming too powerful. The second, as indicated, refers to the "blood sacrifice" Glencoe massacre, something dwelt upon often here, given Glasgow Rangers, Jimmy Savile's cottage and even Jeremy Paxman, who savaged a student on the University Challenge television programme for getting an answer about William of Orange wrong. (here)

From the mail on line link above :

the MacDonalds had until a prescribed date to swear allegiance to the new king, William of Orange. But the letter they sent to do so, due to bureaucratic mishandling and a secretary of state who had a bone to pick against the clan, didn't make it in time.

The Campbells, under the command of Captain Robert Campbell visited the MacDonalds at Glencoe in 1692. Clan Campbell, Martin explained, stayed with Clan MacDonald, so the laws of hospitality were supposed to apply but were quickly - and murderously - ignored.

The clans played cards together and then the MacDonalds fell asleep. As they dozed, the vengeful Campbells killed 38 of them in their beds. Some 40 women and children escaped, only to perish in the blizzard that raged that night.

What the mail on line misses out, is that Robert Campbell was from Glen Lyon,  a place marinated in Druidic history, and the location of the Fortingall Yew,  one of the oldest trees in Europe where, according to local myth and legend, Pontius Pilate "was born in it's shade and played there as a child". Which all resonates with abuser Jimmy Savile, and the London police (Scotland Yard) investigation into his dubious conduct, codenamed Operation Yewtree.

Fairytales

Following on from yesterday's post tying in the Olympic torch visit to Windsor Castle to see the Queen with Donald Trump's Scottish golf course opening, it appears that the British Israel connotations were further established with the news that Stonehenge was illuminated "into a glowing fairytale environment" "as the sun set last night". The 3-night project, named Fire Garden, was organised by French arts group, Compagnie Carabosse who, according to the  BBC report , have "incorporated the points of the compass, the shadows on the stones and the sense of many souls departing."

Today, it is my understanding that the Olympic torch relay itself will join the magical fire-festivities on an off-route excursion similar to day 33-34 of the relay - Prince William's 30th birthday -  where it somehow retraced it's route to return to Scotland as noted in my post Fruit for thought.

 cheers

Note that back in 2009, Compagnie Carabosse organised a Hogmany "light night" in Edinburgh which went "wrong", sparks showering the Royal Mile, forcing the spectators to flee. (Bright Sparks).

A load of balls ?

There are 18 days left of the London Olympic games relay and today "it" visited Windsor Castle to see the Queen and Prince Philip. Earlier, the procession had been interupted by a male streaker.  The rain was torrential as Gina MacGregor, aged 74, carried the torch in. She was the 73rd carrier of the torch out of 111 and passed the torch to Phil Wells, aged 12.

The above image shows the transaction taking place in glorious sunshine. Note that Gina is short for Regina, which in itself means Queen. Note the pairing of the two Phils. Add the two torch bearers numbers together - 73 & 74, a total of 147 - the maximum points achievable in the game of snooker - which revolves around a triangle/pyramid. Note the "torch kiss", forming the triangle/pyramid.

Then turn to the Bible. Palm 147 - 2 :

The LORD doth build up Jerusalem:

he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
Then look to Scotland and Donald Trump. Today he "opened" his 18 hole golf course ("probably the best in the world") in the North East, the one built on a nature reserve, whilst dedicating it to his mother who hailed from the Isle of Lewis. Remember that the North East corner is highly important to freemasonry, for it is always the site of the cubic corner stone - "the most important stone in the whole edifice". (The Symbolism of Freemasonry).

Then hail British Israel.

Muggers

Wednesday's BBC's, The Apprentice, presented a nod and  a wink to "our" future.

Money-mad Alan Sugar disturbed the 11 remaining contestants on their "day off", issuing them a task to set up a mobile restaurant although, unusually, this was not in London but rather up here, in Edinburgh.

The group, as usual, split into two different teams for the challenge, one named Phoenix, the other Sterling. Team Sterling won, with a £22 profit on their meatballs.

Curiously, Donald Trump, who act's out Sugar's role in the American version of the show was appearing himself on Wednesday, at the Scottish Parliament to discuss his grievances regarding wind farms - something Scotland is again a pioneer of; notwithstanding her "green-ness" in terms of the environment.

As I have noted before, and confess it may be nonsense, my philosophy is that once the global economy fails, somehow an independent Scotland and her new "sterling" (Royal Bank of Scotland ?) will be the backbone of a new, global currency. That's not forgetting the global-king, and the "Stone of Destiny".
